First chapter of "Dead in the family"

Oh, the hell of being beautiful. It's a Friday morning in the city, on one of those early summer days when Sydney sparkles like a showgirl: bright-eyed and shining, all cancan kicks and tassels and showing her teeth when she smiles. In a rooftop pool in the centre of the city - right in the showgirl's dimple - Ryan Kwanten is floating on his back.
He's fully clothed, and his white shirt is transparent, and his waterlogged jeans must feel ridiculous, but he still manages to look not only relaxed, but ineffably cool.

BILL WON’T BE BACK FOR AWHILE:
Ball confirmed that the arc of Bill’s kidnapping will last “about six episodes.” That sounds like just enough time to put Sookie (Anna Paquin) through the wringer, but not enough to try viewers’ patience. Plus, we’ll probably still get to see Bill deal with his captors in episodes 1-5
Werewolves are coming to True Blood, and Ball offered a preview of what his wolf-people will look like. “They’re just wolves,” Ball said. “It’s just people who can turn into wolves, but they’re slightly bigger and much stronger. Their eyes glow orange a little bit.”
SORRY LADIES , ERIC IS STILL A TEASE:
Fans keep demanding more screen time for Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), but the writers won’t indulge them. “You know, what’s funny is that he’s in the first two books; he’s a fairly minor character in Sookie’s universe,” Tucker said. “There’s a lot of fan pressure that they’re supposed to be this big romantic thing, which actually in Charlaine [Harris]’s books doesn’t happen until much, much further down. I think if we did that, we’d probably bore them all to death. I think part of the magic of Eric is some of the mystery of Eric and the inaccessibility of Eric. I think you don’t want to turn them into the nice romantic love interest who’s in every scene. I think his danger is important, so not just throwing him up whenever somebody wants to see his bare chest is actually a more disciplined approach.”

Looking for Alcide
Although Alan Ball confirmed to me over the summer that werewolf Alcide would take a big bite out of the drama’s upcoming third season, the search for an actor to play the pivotal part formally got underway today with the release of the following casting notice:
ALCIDE: Good-looking, rough-around-the-edges, articulate, heroic, and decent, but not what he seems. He gets along well with Sookie. There’s even an attraction between the two. Very strong recurring.

Alexander Skarsgard at InStyle’s special Golden Globes party
The 33-year-old Swedish actor shared why he initially decided to join True Blood. Alex explained to Dark Mag, “It’s the fact that Alan Ball was attached to the project. When they first contacted me to tell me that they were doing a new series on vampires, I really wondered what it might look like. I even thought it was a joke! Then they told me that Alan Ball, who wrote and produced American Beauty and the HBO series Six Feet Under, was involved.”

Alexander Skarsgard & Jon Huertas: Killer Reunion
Alexander Skarsgard reunites with and nuzzles his Generation Kill co-star Jon Huertas during a party over the weekend in California.
Jon joked, “I tried to tell him, ‘Skarsgard, you only play a vamp on TV!’ Then he bit me.”
Alex, 33, recently told France’s Toute La Tele that he tries to avoid press about his hit vampire show, True Blood. He said, “I try to avoid blogs, or websites related to the show. As an actor, I don’t think it’s good to read everything that is written about True Blood. If you read a lot of positive things on the show, it would probably be bad for my ego. (laughs) And negative criticism would get my attention but I would start doubting myself.”

Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard plants a big wet kiss on the cheek of his True Blood co-star Michael McMillian while out to dinner together on Thursday night (December 3).
Michael shared, “Alexander Skarsgard is drinking a 1903. I am noshing on a couple of muscles… Garlic is key.”
He continued, “Alexander can’t make up his mind on dessert. He must be a libra!”

Grant Bowler Cast on 'True Blood' Season 3
"True Blood" hired an Australian actor to play one of the new characters introduced in the third season. Grant Bowler, the actor who has recurring roles in both "Lost" and "Ugly Betty", will be in the vampire drama series for a not-yet-known role.
